Swensen - Suntec City

When you ask anyone tried Swensen before? Does it taste good? Their answer will certainly be "Yes". Previously, I did have a dinner with a colleague of mine at Swensen, Vivocity. The result is, it is highly recommended.

However, this time both of us went to have our dinner at Swensen, Suntec City and it turn out to be a big disappointment for us. The service there is not up to the standard. We were made to wait for 10 minutes, to have the menu passed to us! More importantly, if we didn't request for the menu, no one cares about our presence in the restaurant. A big disappointment.

The restaurant is not very full though...

Anyway, let's focus on the food. Glancing through the menu, and finally we made our decision on what to order.

Free flow sky juices is provided.

Pei Quan ordered a butter herb prawns @ $15.90. The prawn is oven baked with herbs butter and topped with tangy tomato salsa. Apart of that, it is served with seasonal vegetables and savory rice. For me, this dish is too expensive. It tasted very normal only.

For myself, I ordered a BBQ half chicken @ $14.90. The chicken is tenderly braised and grilled in smoke BBQ sauce, and served with potatoes and seasonal vegetables. This dish is not bad. Worth a try!

We didn't go for any drinks but instead we opted for a dessert. This is the Banana Crumble @ $13.90. The banana crumble is served on a sizzling skillet with caramelized fresh banana slices and ol'fashioned vanilla ice cream topped with butterscotch cream sauce.

Look it is sizzling hot when it is served...

Butterscotch cream sauce is poured onto it...

Now it is reading to served!

It was a mixture of Cold and Hot, so it is quite special to try out.
