Singapore X'mas 09 One Day Trip

On X'mas Day, we started off by having a movie at Jurong Point, Boon Lay. At the entrance of Jurong point, there was a X'mas tree standing proudly waiting for a picture session with us!

After that, we went to watch the blockbuster movie - Avatar 3D. The movie lasted for the remaining 3 hours. We had 3 hours of trilling action and love. Two thumbs up for this movie!

Feeling thirsty we got a 2 spoonful of ice-cream from Andersen's. Andersen's ice cream originated from Denmark. Click here to visit the official website...

We opted for one spoonful of blueberry and another spoonful of coffee chips. Go try it! It is a must!

After that, it was all shopping time for Connie. What I feel is, Jurong Point offered a more affordable piece of shopping experience for us. It feels more fun to shop here. Not too big and not too small. You will get what you want.

As it is approaching dinner time, we headed from Jurong Point towards City Hall, to have our dinner in Swensen's. Click here to check on what we had for our dinner in Swensen.

When the dinner is over, the Fountain of Wealth which is just inches away from Swensen's started to dance. Check the pics below! It is very beautiful!

We hanged around Suntec City, and shoot some photos for our remembrance. It was a simple day out on X'mas, but it was an exciting to go out together as love is in the air!

Visit Simply Fish on Christmas

Saturday, I had a farewell lunch with Pei Quan at Simply Fish located at Melaka Raya. On Monday onwards, he will start his work in Singapore. Best of luck to you and all the best!

Simply Fish is one of our favourite dining places in Melaka. They served fabulous seafood with affordable price.

As christmas is around the corner, the whole restaurant is decorated in a joyful christmas mood. Christmas song were aired and thus it was full of Christmas feel. Very nice!

This time, We ordered 2 mushroom soup with garlic bread as our starter; basa fish, salmon fish as our main course individually and 2 drinks to tag along.

Well, this is the muschroom soup(RM3.90) and garlic bread (RM2.50).

At RM3.90 the mushroom is a hit. It is smooth and of course it didn't taste like the traditional mushroom soup we cooked our own. It has some special ingredients added. Don't ask me what they add. Ask the cook! :)

About the garlic bread, it is just simply marvelous. Smell it; Dunk it; Eat it! Dunk the garlic bread into the mushroom soup. For sure, you will crave for more.

Now, our main course, the Basa fish. The name of the dish is call Naked Fish. Why? The fish is grilled with cheese and topped with balsamico dressing. It is served together with butter rice and salad. The butter rice is cooked with raisin. The fish is fresh and succulent. At RM16.90, it worth a go!

Another main course, the Salmon fish. Now the dish is called Salmon Cajun. At RM23.90, the thick and fresh salmon is pan grilled and then is topped with lemon butter sauce. It is served with french fries and salad. It is very delectable.

Lastly our drinks to quench our thirst, an Ice Lemon Tea(RM4.50) and an Apple Coke(RM4.00). The Apple Coke is a specially made by the them and it is quite special.

We felt pleasant and satisfied with the food.

Melaka Great Food - Lee Restaurant 肥李海鲜酒家

Scratching your head thinking of which restaurant in Melaka where you can find finger lickin' good seafood? I will recommend you to try Fat Lee Restaurant a.k.a 肥李海鲜酒家.

This restaurant is located in Ayer Keroh. The restaurant is having it's own official website. Click here to visit.

This restaurant is not only famous in Melaka. But it is also well known around the world. The famous 香港食神 a.k.a "HongKong God of Food" - 梁文韬 also visited this restaurant.

Without wasting any time, I will start to blog about the trademark dish of Lee Restaurant.

Fresh Milk Crab. I give two thumbs up to this dish as the thick gravy sauce blends really well with the fresh crabs served. This dish is even sumptuous when you dip the crispy, crusty, toasted bread into the gravy. Its heavenly bliss, i should say!

Next, let me introduce to use this succulent salad prawns with deep-fried butter prawns' heads. This dish is definitely a big YES for all walks of life, regardless, whether they are grey or young. Trust me, they will love these and even crave for it in the next visit to come!

This fried fish in Thai Flavor is also one of my favourites. The credits goes to Chef Lee for making our dinner a memorable and satisfying one with this freshly fried fish with sweet, sour and spicy tastes. Again, another marvelous recipe from him !

Top on my list is vermicelli cooked in coconut curry gravy with prawns. The gravy is extremely delicious to be eaten with rice. And, it tastes even better if you eat while it is still piping hot. But, no worries, it is not so spicy, so everyone can enjoy this meal to the fullest!

This is fried oysters wrapped in egg omelette. By just looking at this photo, I am very sure you are salivating now! Haha! Why not go and try this dish and it will satisfy your appetite!

Well, there are also many ways to serve fried fish. Another one would be this dish which i called it Fried Fish with Garlic in Soy Sauce. This also goes well with rice, which is the staple diet of all Malaysians.

Some may prefer it less oily and steamed food. Here you have your Hong Kong style steamed fish with spring onions. Served hot and fresh, it opens your appetite.

A stable diet also includes vegetables. In this restaurant, there are a variety of vegetables to cater to every customers. The choice is yours. Take a sneak peek into the photos taken.

Lastly, Hong Kong style fried vermicelli. Noodles lovers, you will definitely love it! Serve it while it is hot!

Feeling hungry after reading my blog? Go try it!
