Travel in Malaysia-Genting Highlands

Great! It is another trip for us to Genting Highlands.

This time, we are staying in Highland Hotel. The hotel look much more classy compared to First World Hotel which we usually stay in. Consequently, the price is "classy" too!

It provide 2 queen size beds and complimentary fruits and drinks for us. Not a bad deal!

After placing everything, we went to casino. This time, lady luck was not on myside. The result turned out to be, I "donated" a sum of money to Genting.

Feeling a little hungry, we went to Starbucks to have some tea time. We ordered a piece of cake, a muffin and a cup of ice blended mango. It was a relaxing moment for us to have something to chew in a cool weather.

While waiting for dinner time to arrive, we had some phototaking sessions around.

At about 7pm, we called up to Mushroom Farm Restaurant for reservation. Mushroom Farm Restaurant is one of the cheap eats in Genting Highland. Besides that, it also provides to-fro transport to the restaurant. Please call 03-61012864 for reservation.

What you need to do is:
1. Give them a call @ 03-61012864
2. Make your reservation
3. Tell them where and when will be your pick up point
Simple isn't it! :)

Upon reaching, we got ourselves seated and placed our order. These are what we ordered:

The famous dish - Fried Butter Fish. The speciality of the fish is the meat of the fish are fried to perfection and at the same time, the golden flossy flakes made from butter and egg, made it simply irresistable!

Tian Qi Vegetable. This is actually known as Di Wang Vegetable for us. It is famous over in Genting also.

Lemon Chicken. One of my favourites. Crispy!

Claypot Taufu. Nothing special about this. So so for me.

After finishing our dinner, is time to burn some fat. We boarded the free shutter and stop at First World Hotel. We had a stroll around the shop lots and ended our day1.

After a good night sleep it is day2! The morning of day2 form our room.

We started our day2 journey by visiting Lim Goh Tong Memorial located inside Genting Hotel. Full tribute to the late Mr Lim for his hardwork to promote Genting as one of best holiday resort in the world!

After that, we went for a stroll in the Park outside Highland Hotel. Very beautiful!

Next up, pool and bowling session!

Focusing...

Aiming...

Feeling thirsty, we got ourselves an Baskin Robbins ice cream. Very creamy and tasty!

We went back to the park in front of Theme Park Hotel hoping to capture KL scenery during the day, but too bad the fog was thick and we could only do some photo shooting around the park.

Next, we visited Resort Hotel. The lobby of the hotel was well renovated. I love the decorations in this particular Hotel.

It was almost dinner time and we went for a "All You Can Eat Steamboat Buffet" @ RM19.90++/pax.

It offers quite a number of varieties of selection ranges from vegetables, meat, fishball and oyster. At this price, it is another cheap eat which I strongly reccomend you to try in Genting.

We ended our day after the dinner. Woking up early on day3, we will be going for Dim Sum!

The morning view from our room.

We will be having our Dim Sum breakfast in Good Friends Restaurant. We waited for
for quite sometime before we got ourselves seated. The restaurant was full!

Upon seated, we placed our order and these are what we ordered:

Char Siew Pau. I would say that this is the best among all the dishes we ordered.

Siew Mai.

Har Gau.

Pan Fried Carrot Cake.

Fried Carrot Cake with Chicken Floss.

Century Egg Porridge.

Yam Puff.

Chu Cheong Fun.

Fish Ball.

Glutinous Rice.

We got ourselves check out after the breakfast and it was a enjoying trip for both of us!
